What Is African Mango
African Mango looks similar to a mango you would expect to see at your local supermarket or grocery store. It’s taste and texture is not too disimilar either.
Where African Mango separates itself from a regular mango is not in its appearance or it’s culinary experience, but its unique ability to burn fat, suppress appetite and detox and cleanse the digestive system.
African Mango is derived from the extracts from the Irvingia Gabonensis seed. African Mango may be a relative newcomer to the UK but is has served Western African for centuries if not milleniums.
Irvingia Gabonensis is a fruit tree that is native to West and Central Africa (Cameroon in particular), it is also known locally as ‘wild mango’ or ‘bush mango’.
African Mango has played a historic and important role in the nutrition, economy and traditional medicine in the African contient. Through the help, advice and industry of the United Nations, nutritionists with the aid of science have been able to develop this exotic fruit for commercial use and distribution to the United States and Europe.
The first official studies, trials and research performed on African Mango’s fat burning and appetite suppressing benefits were not undertaken until fairly recently. After which more widespread trials were commissioned to find more concrete evidence pertaining to not just weight loss but to improve total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and blood glucose levels.
African Mango And Oprah Winfrey
Many independent trials have confirmed the connection between African Mango and the weight loss process.
Two studies performed by Judith L Ngondi and several colleagues at the University of Yaounde in Cameroon, published in the Journal of Lipids in Health, support the theory that the Irvingia Gabonensis seeds can cause significant weight loss and improve blood flat levels.
Another study project involved 28 volunteers, comparing weight loss over a 4 week period between a group who were given a placebo (a supplement that contains no beneficial ingredient) and a group who were given African mango extract capsules. The results indicated that those who took the African Mango extract capsules lost 5.3% of their body weight, while the placebo group only lost 1.3%.
African Mango will be continually studied but the consensus of opinion is that African Mango might possibly be one of the greatest break-throughs in the health, fitness and weight loss industry!
